Dear Mr. President,
The news about the Fogel Family’s murder is an International Incident that needs to be addressed by you.
First, you need to call it as it was, a terrorist attack. Those murdered Friday March 11, 2011 were murdered by terrorists. If you do not take a stand for Israel at this time you risk these insane murderers becoming a movement of terrorists who come in the night to overrun and flood Israel with murderers who will murder Jews in their beds until there is not one Jew left.
Second, You need to lead America against these atrocious terrorists who murder innocent people. This was done by those who do not want Israel to be a state. They want to force Jews to leave their country Israel and give up their land.
Third, as President of the United States you need to join with the Jewish Nation to do everything in your power to condemn and stop these acts. You need to resignedly say, “This is wrong, NO MORE. NEVER AGAIN!”
Fourth, we need to pray for God’s Justice and for God to avenge the Fogel Family. I am going to pray something I have never prayed before...I am going to pray for The Vengeance of God to come down on these murderers, and for God to Avenge this family in the Name of Jesus. I hope, Mr. President, that you will join me in this prayer.
I say this with a warning.
God will protect the Jews with or without America’s support. But now, today, if you do not prayerfully address this situation you could be fighting against God because God said in His Holy Word:
Deuteronomy 32:43
"Rejoice, O nations, with His people, for He will avenge the blood of His servants; He will take vengeance on His enemies and make atonement for His land and people."
This is really the LINE IN THE SAND, THE LINE OF DEMARKATION,
We need to take a STAND on one side or the other….
We need to ask ourselves, “Do I stand for God and His Word, or for those that condone murder?”

Birds, Cows, Fish
With the birds, fish, cows falling dead in various parts of the earth it makes me think that God has gotten to the point that this world is soon to be desolate.
Desolate is the strongest word in the Bible to indicate total devistation and wasteland.
It’s happened before…to Israel, now the Lord is going to do it (desolation) to the rest of the world and protect Israel.
New King James version
Jeremiah 12:4
“How long will the land mourn,
And the herbs of every field wither?
The beasts and birds are consumed,
For the wickedness of those who dwell there,
Because they said, “He will not see our final end.”
Jeremiah 12:11
“They have made it desolate;
Desolate, it mourns to Me;
The whole land is made desolate,
Because no one takes it to heart.”
Jeremiah 12:14-15
“Thus says the LORD: ‘Against all My evil neighbors who touch the inheritance which I have caused My people Israel to inherit—behold, I will pluck them out of their land and pluck out the house of Judah from among them. Then it shall be, after I have plucked them out, that I will return and have compassion on them and bring them back, everyone to his heritage and everyone to his land.’”
Jeremiah 13:9-11

I think Israel is now ready to cling to the Lord God Almighty, and the rest of the world will see Israel get stronger, and the other nations get weaker and weaker till they are no more.

“And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it.”

He who testifies to these things says, “Surely I am coming quickly.”

Essay on Faith
A fine man, whom I respect, said to me one day, “Our church allows every faith to speak from our pulpit.”
I wished I had been able to discuss that interesting topic with him, but the moment escaped and we were busy with other activities of the day.
If I had a chance to return to that discussion with him I would say, “I don’t think you’d let me speak from your pulpit because I don’t believe it’s possible to allow every faith to speak the truth from every pulpit.”
The Christian faith follows both the Old Testament Hebrew scriptures and New Testament Christian scriptures. We believe every word written in the Bible is the Word of God. It is a Love letter from God.I won’t argue about the authenticity of the old transcripts because there’s more documentation on the historical veracity (unwillingness to tell lies, and Scriptural consistency) of the 66 books of the Bible than any other ancient manuscript. Plus its historical facts are verified by secular historians like Josephus and contemporary Babylonian, Greek and Roman historians.
The Bible says in John 1:1 -
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
Furthermore, we believe Jesus is the Word.
John 1:14 -
“The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Since the Word is so important it is necessary to study it and know what it says. There is an interesting discussion in Isaiah 29:16, Isaiah 64:8, Jeremiah 18:4, and Romans 9:21. about God being “The Potter” and that He reserve the right to destroy a marred pot and make one that’s not marred.
Who can argue with God being the potter since He is creator of heaven and earth. He makes us as it seems good to Him to make us.
He is God.
Also the Bible shows us that He loves and hates.
Consider Malachi Chapters 1,2, and 3.
God has the prerogative to hate. He knows the end from the beginning and he reserves the right to hate for His own reasons.
His reasons are explained concerning Esau/Edom in Obadiah chapter 1.
One might say, “I have a god of love; I don’t worship a god who hates.” Well let me ask you a question. “How can you have a god who doesn’t hate evil?”
If you have a god who loves everything it includes all evil.
The Bible clearly tells us God will not tolerate evil.
I Thank God for the fact that He hates evil!
God asks us to obey, trust and love Him with all our heart, mind and soul.
It says this in the Old Testament Deuteronomy 6:5 -
“Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.”
And in the New Testament Matthew 22:36-38 -
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment.”
In order to do that we have to acknowledge He is the only God; there is no other. We cannot accept other faiths who bow their knee to idols. We adhere to the Ten Commandments.
There is a reason Jesus said, in John 14:6 -
“I am the way and the truth and the life.
No one comes to the Father except through me.”
In this life, we either do “what is right in our own eyes” or we do what is right in God’s eyes. The Bible explains that that is the issue.
It is the basis for the ancient enmity that God told us would be in the earth since the fall in Genesis.
God said to Satan, in Genesis 3:15 -
“And I will put enmity
between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and hers;
he will crush your head,
and you will strike his heel.”
That verse, incidentally, is the first reference to Jesus Christ in the Bible. He, Jesus, is the seed of the woman that will crush Satan’s head. This verse also
shows there is a huge battle going on, and it is a spiritual battle.
Ephesians 6:12 -
“For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.”
But God is in control.
Colossians 1:16 -
“For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him.”
So it boils down to what Joshua said in Joshua 25:15 -
“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your forefathers served beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.”
God loves mankind and He has made it clear that whoever loves Him shall be with Him in heaven.
I Corinthians 2:9 -
“No eye has seen,
no ear has heard,
no mind has conceived
what God has prepared for those who love him”
But remember He loved us first, that's why He established this earth and sent Jesus.
John 3:16 -
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
It seemed like an heavenly offer to me; that’s why I’ve been a Christian since my early twenties, when I first understood and believed.
So that’s what I would say if I had a chance to talk to that man about why I don’t believe it’s possible to allow every faith to speak the truth from every pulpit.

A Prophecy to the Mountains of Israel
1 "Son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel and say, 'O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD. 2 This is what the Sovereign LORD says: The enemy said of you, "Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession." ' 3 Therefore prophesy and say, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because they ravaged and hounded you from every side so that you became the possession of the rest of the nations and the object of people's malicious talk and slander, 4 therefore, O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Sovereign LORD : This is what the Sovereign LORD says to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys, to the desolate ruins and the deserted towns that have been plundered and ridiculed by the rest of the nations around you- 5 this is what the Sovereign LORD says: In my burning zeal I have spoken against the rest of the nations, and against all Edom), for with glee and with malice in their hearts they made My land their own possession so that they might plunder its pastureland.' 6 Therefore prophesy concerning the land of Israel and say to the mountains and hills, to the ravines and valleys: 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: I speak in my jealous wrath because you have suffered the scorn of the nations. 7 Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: I swear with uplifted hand that the nations around you will also suffer scorn.

The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. 11 I will increase the number of men and animals upon you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. I will settle people on you as in the past and will make you prosper more than before. Then you will know that I am the LORD. 12 I will cause people, my people Israel, to walk upon you. The towns will be inhabited and the ruins rebuilt. 11 I will increase the number of men and animals upon you, and they will be fruitful and become numerous. 33 " 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: On the day I cleanse you from all your sins, I will resettle your towns, and the ruins will be rebuilt. 34 The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it. 35 They will say, "This land that was laid waste has become like the garden of Eden; the cities that were lying in ruins, desolate and destroyed, are now fortified and inhabited." 36 Then the nations around you that remain will know that I the LORD have rebuilt what was destroyed and have replanted what was desolate. I the LORD have spoken, and I will do it.'
37 "This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Once again I will yield to the plea of the house of Israel and do this for them: I will make their people as numerous as sheep, 38 as numerous as the flocks for offerings at Jerusalem during her appointed feasts. So will the ruined cities be filled with flocks of people. Then they will know that I am the LORD."

The Millennium Kingdom
Just because it's been a couple of thousand years does not mean the Lord is slow to keep His promises. After all, if He didn't delay this long just look at how many people would not have been born yet, including you and me! He delayed so that more could come to read His Word and believe what it says.That too was part of His plan. The Bible, simply put, is a marriage contract and a love letter to all who care to know what God has said to us. If you read it honestly and let your heart see His Love, you will see His Glory and praise Him for His mercy towards mankind.
Revelation 22:20 "He who testifies to these things says, 'Surely I am coming soon.' Amen Come, Lord Jesus!"

The Thousand Years Also known as: The Millennium
"And I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key to the Abyss and holding in his hand a great chain. He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil, or Satan, and bound him for a thousand years. He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time."
The Millennium is the prelude to heaven. It's the overture to the New Heavens and the New Earth.
It's a time of great joy, prosperity, purity, peace, and prolonged life, with King Jesus reigning on the Throne of David.
Isaiah 9:6-7
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and peace
there will be no end.

Time of Reflection

Pastor Mark is encouraging Christians to reflect on our own need for repentance just as John the Baptist taught in quoting Isaiah 40.
It is a good thing to approach the Jewish High Holy days in this manner because many believe the Seven God given Jewish Feast Days (see Leviticus) reflect the life of Christ.
The Apostle Paul said in Colossians 2:16-17 "Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ."
Pastor Byron MacDonald said,
" The fact that Jesus has fulfilled all the feasts on the exact day so far in progression is most significant. Passover, Christ's Crucifixion, Unleavened Bread, Firstfruits, Pentecost all happened on the exact feast day.
Based on that pattern you would expect the three yet to be fulfilled would happen in the same sequence. Rosh Hashanah(rapture of the church), Day of Atonement(start of tribulation, two witnesses to Jerusalem and 144,000 Jews believe in Jesus), Feast of Tabernacles, (1000 year reign of Christ) - then the final judgment, new heaven and earth."
Rosh Hashana may be the time of the Rapture of the Chruch because it is a 2 day feast for the new year and no one knows the day or the time until the Jewish High Priest will sees the new moon.
Nevertheless, whether Jesus returns for the church this year or 10 years from now, it is still a good idea to reflect on our need to repent and get right before our Lord.
Read your Bible, Watch and Pray for yourself, your family and rely on the Peace of God.
Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 53
Who has believed our message
and to whom has the arm of the LORD been revealed?
He grew up before him like a tender shoot,
and like a root out of dry ground.
He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him,
nothing in his appearance that we should desire him.
He was despised and rejected by men,
a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering.
Like one from whom men hide their faces
he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely he took up our infirmities
and carried our sorrows,
yet we considered him stricken by God,
smitten by him, and afflicted.
But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was upon him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
We all, like sheep, have gone astray,
each of us has turned to his own way;
and the LORD has laid on him

Surely the nations are like a drop in a bucket;
they are regarded as dust on the scales;
he weighs the islands as though they were fine dust.
Lebanon is not sufficient for altar fires,
nor its animals enough for burnt offerings.
Before him all the nations are as nothing;
they are regarded by him as worthless
and less than nothing.
To whom, then, will you compare God?
What image will you compare him to?
As for an idol, a craftsman casts it,
and a goldsmith overlays it with gold
and fashions silver chains for it.
A man too poor to present such an offering
selects wood that will not rot.
He looks for a skilled craftsman
to set up an idol that will not topple.
Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
Has it not been told you from the beginning?
Have you not understood since the earth was founded?
He sits enthroned above the circle of the earth,
and its people are like grasshoppers.
He stretches out the heavens like a canopy,
and spreads them out like a tent to live in.
He brings princes to naught
and reduces the rulers of this world to nothing.
No sooner are they planted,
no sooner are they sown,
no sooner do they take root in the ground,
than he blows on them and they wither,
and a whirlwind sweeps them away like chaff.
"To whom will you compare me?
Or who is my equal?" says the Holy One.
Lift your eyes and look to the heavens:
Who created all these?
He who brings out the starry host one by one,
and calls them each by name.
Because of his great power and mighty strength,
not one of them is missing.

The Day or the Hour

Dear Pastor Byron,
Today on Christian Radio here in Sacramento I heard a group of Calvary Pastors say they did not think Rosh Hashanah would be the time of the Rapture because we “would not know the day or the hour”.
I think that is lazy thinking. What do you think?

Ashes vs. God's will
Whatever You Acquire Outside Of God’s Will Eventually Turns To Ashes.

Some people think that God’s refusal to give them some cherished need would be the worst thing that could ever happen to them. They think life would truly disappoint them if some urgent desire of theirs should go unmet.
So they pursue their desire, either in opposition to God’s will or in disregard of it—and end up truly disappointed, even if they get what they think they wanted. They remind me of the Israelites in Moses’ day who insisted on meat and got it: “He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul” (Psalm 106:15).
G.K. Chesterton said, “There are two ways to get enough: One is to accumulate more and more, the other is to desire less.”
While you can always accumulate more things, more relationships, and more success, there will always be room for more. And when there’s room for more, there’s room for wanting more. The cycle never ends.
If you choose the second route of Chesterton’s advice, “to desire less,” the likelihood of living a fulfilling life increases. But how does one simply want less?
By going back to the one desire present in every human heart: to know God.
You may not understand this longing as a desire for God; you may simply feel dissatisfaction with your life. Maybe the relationship you wanted and attained isn’t everything you thought it would be. Perhaps you have everything you’d ever wanted, yet still go through periods of longing, sadness and loneliness.
There is always more to be uncovered about God. We will never “get to the bottom” of Him while we live on earth. But once we enter into a relationship with the Lord, He promises to reveal more of Himself to us as we fellowship with Him. Hosea 2:19, 20 says, “I will betroth you to Me forever. Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and justice. In lovingkindness and mercy I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, and you shall know the LORD.”
To “fellowship” with God—to talk to Him and listen to Him as you study the Bible—is to get to know Him better. He has “betrothed” (or engaged) His people to Himself for one reason: to let Himself be known.
When you discover something about God that you have never recognized, the proverbial light bulb illuminates your heart and mind, giving you a greater desire to know more—and leave your fleshly desires behind.
As we test the waters of worldly desire, only to find ourselves drowning in them, God’s loyalty to us shines. As we find the things we acquire outside of His will turn to ashes, He rescues us and restores our desire for Him alone.
Glimpsing one of God’s characteristics in His Word, and then seeing it come to life through our experiences deepens:
• Our humility. As we see God’s sovereignty unveiled, we more deeply understand our need for Him.
• Our gratitude. Knowing that God’s lovingkindness motivates His forgiveness, deliverance, and guidance, gives us thankful heart. Instead of coming to God with complaints about our unfulfilled, selfish desires, we come to Him with adoration and praise.
• Our hunger. When the Holy Spirit sheds new light on an old verse (one we’ve read many times), our quest for more gets stronger. Our appreciation of God’s Word gives us a more profound delight in studying and applying its truth.
• Our reverence. Learning something new about our Creator reminds us that we don’t know everything about Him. As we come to terms with the depths and heights of God, our awe of Him grows.
• Our desire to please God. When we have a right, holy, respectful fear of the Lord, our wants change from satisfying ourselves to satisfying our God. Pleasing Him is not a chore; rather it becomes a joy done out of humility and thankfulness.

Some people think that God’s refusal to give them some cherished need would be the worst thing that could ever happen to them. They think life would truly disappoint them if some urgent desire of theirs should go unmet.
So they pursue their desire, either in opposition to God’s will or in disregard of it—and end up truly disappointed, even if they get what they think they wanted. They remind me of the Israelites in Moses’ day who insisted on meat and got it: “He gave them their request, but sent leanness into their soul” (Psalm 106:15).
G.K. Chesterton said, “There are two ways to get enough: One is to accumulate more and more, the other is to desire less.”
While you can always accumulate more things, more relationships, and more success, there will always be room for more. And when there’s room for more, there’s room for wanting more. The cycle never ends.
If you choose the second route of Chesterton’s advice, “to desire less,” the likelihood of living a fulfilling life increases. But how does one simply want less?
By going back to the one desire present in every human heart: to know God.
You may not understand this longing as a desire for God; you may simply feel dissatisfaction with your life. Maybe the relationship you wanted and attained isn’t everything you thought it would be. Perhaps you have everything you’d ever wanted, yet still go through periods of longing, sadness and loneliness.
There is always more to be uncovered about God. We will never “get to the bottom” of Him while we live on earth. But once we enter into a relationship with the Lord, He promises to reveal more of Himself to us as we fellowship with Him. Hosea 2:19, 20 says, “I will betroth you to Me forever. Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and justice. In lovingkindness and mercy I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, and you shall know the LORD.”
To “fellowship” with God—to talk to Him and listen to Him as you study the Bible—is to get to know Him better. He has “betrothed” (or engaged) His people to Himself for one reason: to let Himself be known.
When you discover something about God that you have never recognized, the proverbial light bulb illuminates your heart and mind, giving you a greater desire to know more—and leave your fleshly desires behind.
As we test the waters of worldly desire, only to find ourselves drowning in them, God’s loyalty to us shines. As we find the things we acquire outside of His will turn to ashes, He rescues us and restores our desire for Him alone.
Glimpsing one of God’s characteristics in His Word, and then seeing it come to life through our experiences deepens:
• Our humility. As we see God’s sovereignty unveiled, we more deeply understand our need for Him.
• Our gratitude. Knowing that God’s lovingkindness motivates His forgiveness, deliverance, and guidance, gives us thankful heart. Instead of coming to God with complaints about our unfulfilled, selfish desires, we come to Him with adoration and praise.
• Our hunger. When the Holy Spirit sheds new light on an old verse (one we’ve read many times), our quest for more gets stronger. Our appreciation of God’s Word gives us a more profound delight in studying and applying its truth.
• Our reverence. Learning something new about our Creator reminds us that we don’t know everything about Him. As we come to terms with the depths and heights of God, our awe of Him grows.
• Our desire to please God. When we have a right, holy, respectful fear of the Lord, our wants change from satisfying ourselves to satisfying our God. Pleasing Him is not a chore; rather it becomes a joy done out of humility and thankfulness.

Chapter 10/page117-118
One of the Bible verses used to explain this uselessness of specific dating is 1 Thessalonians 5:2, “The day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.” The interpretation of the Scripture has always been, “Since one does not know when a thief is coming, one also cannot know when the Rapture will occur.”
The first time I remotely considered reviewing any of these Scriptures was in 1974. My spouse asked me the intriguing question, “Why do we Christians use I Thessalonians 5:2 to prove we can’t date the Rapture, when verse four, only two verses later says, ‘But ye brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief’?” I couldn’t answer.
Another “thief” passage from Revelation 3:3, with a similar ending is “Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.” Again, it appeared that both of the “thief” Scriptures taught that Christians should not be surprised to see Jesus.
In 1975 we asked a noted prophetic author about the Thessalonians passage. “Why do preachers and Christian movies use the theme ‘thief in the night’ to teach a ‘surprise’ Rapture, when I Thessalonians 5:4 says believers will not be surprised?” He studied the section a moment and then replied, “I don’t know.” Although this author refers to I Thessalonians 5:4 in a book he wrote, he prefaces its use with “We don’t know when the Rapture will occur…but according to the signs, we are in the general time.”
This encounter was significant because of this man’s extensive studies of the end times. It was mystifying. Why have we all, including that dedicated prophetic teacher, applied the passage this way? This question led me to investigate further.
Interestingly, I found most scholars believe the passage in 1 Thessalonians, Chapter 5 is not a direct reference to the Rapture. They reach this conclusion because of the specific term, “the Day of the Lord.”
They feel the use of the phrase, “the Day of the Lord” describes either
(a) the whole seven-year period of judgment on the earth (along with the simultaneous seven-year preparation of the Bride in heaven)
(b) the period from the Rapture to the end of the Millennium (1007 year period)
(c) the climactic end of the seven-year Tribulation.
Also see the Day of the Lord passages in Isaiah 13:6-10, Jeremiah 30:4-8, Zephaniah 1:14-23
One truth however, can be agreed upon here. This passage does teach that this appearance of Jesus will come as unexpectedly as a thief ----to unbelievers.
Most importantly though, this particular passage does not teach that Christians cannot know the timing of future events! Based on this discovery, I decided then to reexamine the other Scriptures that prohibit exact dating of the end-time events.

After you worked your way through all this information you didn’t find my chosen date for the Rapture, did you? That’s because I do not yet know the date. Certainly there is strong evidence from the Jewish feasts for the Rapture to occur on some Rosh Hashanah, but still we don’t know the year.
However, I hope after reading, studying, and praying about the information in this book you, too, will feel that the prohibition “to know” does not exist. When many believers begin to prayerfully search the Scriptures, I believe God will be true to His promise in John 16:13. “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and He will show you things to come.”

Marriage Supper of the Lamb
Rosh Hashanna is the only Jewish Festival that is a two day festival. It is the only Jewish Festival that is designated by the New Moon. The Jews needed to spy the moon before they could announce the feast had arrived. So even if we think the return of Jesus is on Rosh Hashanna, we still do not know the day or the hour.
God in His perfection took care of all the details when Jesus said in Mathew 24:36-37
"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”
Also, Christ may have been born on Rosh Hashanna. This can be ascertained by looking at the Gospels.
John the Baptist was conceived in the Fall between Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kupor during the High Holy Days or (Head of the Year).
In Luke Chapter ONE.
Zacharis was serving as high priest when the angel Gabriel announced to Elizabeth she would bear a son to be called John in the spririt of Elijah. Elizabeth was hid away 5 months vs 26 when the Angel of God, Gabriel visited Mary and told her “Mary you will conceive” in vs 31. “By the Holy Spirit and the Power of the Highest, the Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God”, vs. 35. Elizabeth is in the 6th month when Mary goes to see her, Elizabeth confrims Mary is pregnant upon the arrival of Mary’s visit, vs 36. Mary remains about 3 months vs 56 and then John the Baptist was born. So if John was conceived on the High Holy Days, and Jesus was born 3 months later, Jesus was born on the High Holy Days, possibly on Rosh Hashanna the Head of the Year about 2000 years ago perhaps 3 years BC. It seems perfectly fitting to me that the Jewish Lord Jesus would have been born on the High Holy Days.
There are some who reason to believe that it was 9/11 that year BC 03. Perhaps now science can look back and see if that Rosh Hashanna was that date: September 11, 03BC. It also would have been about the 4000th year since Creation. That is interesting because it’s been another 2009 or 2012 years since the first visitation. Many Christians believe that the Rapture is due and will take place on a Rosh Hashanna (some year). This two day festival of Rosh Hashanna is September 18 and 19, 2009.
This would be particularly significant approaching (+/-) the 6000th year as it may be the end of the work week and the Day of Rest is aproaching: the Sabbath Rest. That is particularly significant because it seems to indicate the 1000 year Millennium is coming soon, the appointed time of God, the Messianic Kingdom .
“Rosh Hashanah encompasses many themes and teaches many doctrines” according to Joseph Good in his book “Rosh Hashanah and the Messianic Kingdom to Come”. Also information from Pastor Mark Blitz’s El Shaddai Ministeries includes many of the terms he believes are doctrines related to Rosh Hashanna shown below. As I read and re-read the Bible, these themes are profound to me and I thought it was important to share them with those who are interested in Holy Scripture.
• The Day of the Lord, Day of Wrath (mentioned throughout Scripture)
• Repentance (Teshuvah)
• The Time of Jacob’s Trouble but he will be saved out of it.(seven year tribulation) (Jacob is another name for Israel)

A Bible Study
Dear Ones,
Here is a Bible Study for you, I pray you'll consider it.
This is my updated study of the Jewish Feast of Rosh HaShanah and how it ties in to "Easter" or Resurrection Sunday.
God's Word is delightfully perfect with truth on every page and it has withstood the ages. Not one "jot or tittle" will be left undone.
I always believed and knew the 7 feasts of the Jews had an important role because God made them for a reason...."a shadow of things to come" Colossians 2:16-17.
It also could be next year or in 10 or 20 years from now, but with all that is going on in the world I did not want to sit on this theory without sharing it with my dear family and friends. Remember we are told by Jesus in the Bible "to Watch and Pray".
Now, if you have any comments to my conclusion (theory) concerning these scriptures or references please feel free to let me know.
I believe every word of the Bible, and I believe the Jews will soon face the time of Jacob's Trouble. But they will be saved out of it.

The Marriage Supper of the Lamb
Colossians 2:8-10 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ. For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form, and you have been given fullness in Christ, who is the head over every power and authority.
It has been taught by: Rabbi Eliezer Rosh haShanah 10b-11a
“in the month of Tishri the world was created,…and in Tishri they will be redeemed in time to come.”
The book by Joseph Good: “Rosh HaShanah and the Messianic Kingdom to Come”

“I do think the Day of the Lord is a 1007 year period of time that begins with the Great Tribulation - the wrath of God on the nations.”

“I think the key date is Rosh Hashanna. … I definitely think Jesus will come back for the church on Rosh Hashana, I just don't know which one. My preference is this year. Even so Lord Jesus come!”

Countless as the Stars
Promise of Restoration
Jeremiah 33:14-26
" 'The days are coming,' declares the LORD, 'when I will fulfill the gracious promise I made to the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
" 'In those days and at that time
I will make a righteous Branch sprout from David's line;
he will do what is just and right in the land.
In those days Judah will be saved
and Jerusalem will live in safety.
This is the name by which it will be called:
The LORD Our Righteousness.'
For this is what the LORD says: 'David will never fail to have a man to sit on the throne of the house of Israel, nor will the priests, who are Levites, ever fail to have a man to stand before me continually to offer burnt offerings, to burn grain offerings and to present sacrifices.' "
The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
"This is what the LORD says: 'If you can break my covenant with the day and my covenant with the night, so that day and night no longer come at their appointed time, then my covenant with David my servant—and my covenant with the Levites who are priests ministering before me—can be broken and David will no longer have a descendant to reign on his throne.
I will make the descendants of David my servant and the Levites who minister before me as countless as the stars of the sky and as measureless as the sand on the seashore.' "
The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah:
"Have you not noticed that these people are saying, 'The LORD has rejected the two kingdoms he chose'? So they despise my people and no longer regard them as a nation.
This is what the LORD says: 'If I have not established my covenant with day and night and the fixed laws of heaven and earth, then I will reject the descendants of Jacob and David my servant and will not choose one of his sons to rule over the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
For I will restore their fortunes and have compassion on them.' "
