Jerusalem will Stand

Jeremiah 17: 13

O LORD, the hope of Israel,
all who forsake you will be put to shame.
Those who turn away from you will be written in the dust
because they have forsaken the LORD,
the spring of living water.

Jeremiah 25:32-33

This is what the LORD Almighty says:
"Look! Disaster is spreading
from nation to nation;
a mighty storm is rising
from the ends of the earth."

At that time those slain by the LORD will be everywhere—from one end of the earth to the other. They will not be mourned or gathered up or buried, but will be like refuse lying on the ground.

Jeremiah 23:19-20

See, the storm of the LORD
will burst out in wrath,
a whirlwind swirling down
on the heads of the wicked.

The anger of the LORD will not turn back
until he fully accomplishes
the purposes of his heart.
In days to come
you will understand it clearly.

Jeremiah 18:7
The instant I speak concerning a nation and concerning a kingdom,
to pluck up,
to pull down,
and to destroy it.
Psalm 2:1
Why do the nations rage
and the people plot a vain thing?

Isaiah 62:6-7
I have posted watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
they will never be silent day or night.
You who call on the LORD,
give yourselves no rest,
and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem
and makes her the praise of the earth.

Galatians 4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

Rapture, The Day of the Lord and Jacob's Trouble

I belive Our Lord's Rapture will be SOON, even this Rosh Hashanna Sept 29-30 of this year 2008 (or perhaps next year).

So we best be ready.

It seems like the world is ripe for "The Day of the Lord" and "The Time of Jacob's trouble".

Frankly, I think those three events (Rapture, Day of the Lord, Jacob's Trouble) are linked and they are going to happen at the same moment.

God will snatch away the believers and be our Rear Guard as turmoil and war breaks out on earth.

This world is a dangeous place.

Because just like Noah and the Ark, they were rescued in the ark, but at the same time the rest of the world perished.

The Rapture is to be our glorious home coming, but those left on earth will face "The Day of the Lord, who can stand?"
see my references below on "The Day of the Lord" listed below.

The great part is that the Rapture will snatch us away, and we'll be taken to the wedding banquet of the Lord for the wedding of the Church in heaven.

Did you know, the Jewish wedding feast lasts 7 days, one week.

And that the Tribulation is also 7 days, one week which is actually 7 years.

I don't think that's a coincidence.

And as far as Jacob's Trouble is concerned, "it will be a time of Jacob's trouble, but they will be saved out of it" The Jews are in God's special care.

The bottom line is, I think NOW is the time for all of us to be mindful of our relationship with God.

To Watch and Pray and to be ready for the Blessed Hope that is in us, and to be sure to REPENT of our sins and get right with God.

That's the problems, how do you share that with your family, friends and neighbors?

My theroy of how it will happen doesn't really matter, what matters is, God Knows.

I believe it will be all His Perfect Timing.

But I'm just saying, I believe it and I'm looking forward to God's Truth, Justice and the fulfillment of the Word.

See references below of the Day of the Lord. Interesting reading.

2 Peter 3

The Day of the Lord

Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking. I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles. First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed. By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. But do not forget this one thing, dear friends: With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare. Since everything will be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be? You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat. But in keeping with his promise we are looking forward to a new heaven and a new earth, the home of righteousness. So then, dear friends, since you are looking forward to this, make every effort to be found spotless, blameless and at peace with him. Bear in mind that our Lord's patience means salvation, just as our dear brother Paul also wrote you with the wisdom that God gave him. He writes the same way in all his letters, speaking in them of these matters. His letters contain some things that are hard to understand, which ignorant and unstable people distort, as they do the other Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore, dear friends, since you already know this, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of lawless men and fall from your secure position. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.More references to The Day of the Lord:Isaiah 2:6The Day of the Lord ] You have abandoned your people, the house of Jacob. The Day of the Lord

The Day of the Lord

I believe that DAY will have three elements spoken of in the Holy Scriptures, The Bible:

A) The Rapture of the Church (Rosh Hashanah September 2008)

All believers will be taken out of the world to join Christ in the wedding banquet of the Church in heaven. It will last one week (actually 7 years), the traditional feast of the Jewish wedding. See the parable of the Seven Virgins. Read Daniel about the timetable of weeks.

B) The Day of the Lord

This is also called the day of wrath or day of vengeance. When you read the Bible look and see how many times this day is spoken about. I believe it is also the time of the destruction of America see Revelation 18 (the daughter of Babylon, man’s rebellion against God). Also, when Ezekiel 38-39 take place, when the Gog Magog (Russia) moves against Israel, Russia is destroyed by God along with Damascus and Iran (Persia).

C) The time of Jacob’s Trouble

This is the time when Israel faces its greatest challenges and they are center stage of world events. To the point that the anti-christ tries to crown himself in the Jewish Temple.
It is the "time of Jacob’s trouble" , but, God will save them out of it. Read Isaiah, Jeremiah, Zechariah, Joel…While you’re at it read the entire Bible especially the New Testament Romans, Peter I, II James, Hebrews, Revelation, etc.

Do your homework, read and study for yourself, don’t take my word for it. I expect to go in the Rapture soon and very soon. If not this year, then next year, but I really think the signs of the times point to this year.

What do you think?

More importantly, what do you believe?

As for me, I believe every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.

Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life,
and no one comes to the Father except by Him.

Psalm 2
1 Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth take their stand and the rulers gather together against the LORD and against his Anointed One.
3 "Let us break their chains," they say, "and throw off their fetters."
4 The One enthroned in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.
5 Then he rebukes them in his anger and terrifies them in his wrath, saying,
6 "I have installed my King on Zion, my holy hill."
7 I will proclaim the decree of the LORD : He said to me, "You are my Son ; today I have become your Father.
8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You will rule them with an iron scepter; you will dash them to pieces like pottery."
10 Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the LORD with fear and rejoice with trembling.
12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry and you be destroyed in your way, for his wrath can flare up in a moment.

Blessed are all who take refuge in him.
